The automatic stripping tool works well on wires of any gauge; admittedly, it doesn't work as well on cables with fabric sleeves, but then again, that's not what this tool was made for. The cable cutter works as described.
This product is amazing! A lot of nice features packed in a single tool. Overall quality is pretty good for the price, and the more expensive option is worth the price due to the nice additions in the handles - which also allow for a firm and secure grip. These cable cutters are a must have in you electrical toolbox!
